Company Director & Registered Architect
Noel Yaxley
Noel began his architecture career at EJE Architecture in Newcastle before joining DWP Architects, where he developed his foundation in residential and commercial design. A move to Sydney and FJMT — one of Australia's most respected design practices — sharpened his focus on design excellence and complex project delivery.
At FJMT, Noel contributed to landmark projects including the Charles Perkins Centre at the University of Sydney and UTS Central — buildings that demanded rigorous coordination across large consultant teams and an uncompromising commitment to design quality.
That experience in leading consultant teams and driving projects from concept to completion became the foundation for Yaxley Studio. Today, Noel partners with design consultants matched to each project's typology and council area, bringing the same design literacy, technical rigour, and calm leadership to every engagement. He is known for protecting client interests above all else.
